Classical Beat Orchestra: Midnight Summer

This year (2023) the young artists are on the road in France, Northern Germany and Denmark - with their new program "Midnight Summer".

Under the artistic and musical direction of the French saxophonist, composer and conductor, Pierre Bertrand, in 2022 the program "PEACE" was created as a collective work of the band, the theme of peace, was brought to the foreground in these current turbulent times. Compositions by the musicians involved in the CLASSICAL BEAT Orchestra were performed, with three special guests supporting the implementation: alongside the Stéphane Chausse (saxophone, clarinet) and Joel Chausse (trumpet) form France, and the Steen Nikolaj Hansen (trombone) from Denmark, who expanded the international orchestra.

Even if it goes without saying, this international project aims to remind everyone that with music everyone works in harmony, regardless of their religion, nationality, age, etc. For this reason, the CLASSICAL BEAT Orchestra, a large formation composed mainly of young, already "prominent" jazz musicians from France and Germany, but also from all over Europe and Canada, is a symbol of peace in itself. According to the creators of CLASSICAL BEAT, music should serve as a link here and make people forget social differences.
