How to apply

Most student exchanges at SDMK are organised within the framework of Erasmus+ or Nordplus.

All exchange applications must be sent in agreement with the international office at your home institution. Please contact the international office at your own institution for further information on application procedures within the different networks.

SDMK only allows mobility applications via MobilityOnline:

The application deadline for exchange students is March 1st.

In the application we ask for the following documentation/information:

• Audition material (audio/video)
• Letter of motivation
• Study plan (preliminary learning agreement)
• Transcript of records (or a bachelor certificate)
• Curriculum vitae
• Photo

• Letter of recommendation (optional)

Students applying for an exchange period at SDMK must have completed at least one year of bachelor studies in their home institution before the exchange.

Please find the our programmes here:

IMPORTANT: in the EASY Mobility Online application system there is a process connected to the sending institution and several steps to be completed before the application can be finally submitted to the receiving institution. So make sure to begin in due time before 1 March.

Admissions decisions will be communicated through the application system EASY Mobility Online in April/May.

For international coordinators at institutions that are not using EASY Mobility Online:

When one of your students submits an application, the specified coordinator at your institution will automatically receive an email from EASY Mobility Online. From this e-mail you need to nominate (approve) the application. Only after the nomination we will be able to process the application.

Please contact me or the international office at your home institution for further information on application procedures.
