Henriette Bonde-Hansen completed her vocal studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music, DKDM (1991) and at the Opera Academy, OA in Copenhagen (1993)
Further studies with professor Jenö Sipos, Budapest (1993-1995) and bel canto technique with Robert Kettelson, Milano (1999 – 2006)

Henriette Bonde-Hansen’s solo career spans all areas of the classical music world. She has established a diverse opera repertoire, with such roles as Gilda (Rigoletto), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Juliette (Romeo et Juliette), Ilia (Idomeneo), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Zdenka (Arabella), Sophie (Rosenkavalier), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Aspasia (Mitridate), Angelica (Orlando), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Arminda (La finta Giardiniera), Zaiide (Zaiide), Valencienne (Die lustige Witve), Nannetta (Falstaff), Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Melisande (Pelleas et Melisande), Frasquita, Michaela (Carmen), Dircée (Medée), Fiorilla (Il turco in Italia), Semiramide (Semiramide), Corinna, Madama Cortesa (Il viaggio a Reims), Margherite (Les Huguenots), Elvira (I Puritani) Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) and many others.

Henriette Bonde-Hansen has an extensive recording catalogue that includes Lieder by Frederick Delius with Aarhus Symphony Orchestra (Danish Masterworks vol 1, Norwegian Masterworks vol II, French Masterworks vol III, English Masterwork vol VI, American Masterworks vol V).
George Bizet’s ”Ivan IV” released by Radio France (la jeune Bulgare).
Four Opera Seria by Mozart with the Danish Radio Sinfonietta conducted by Adam Fisher (Lucio Silla, Mitridate, Il re pastore and Idomeneo).
Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari’s ”La vedova scaltra” with Orchestra National de Montpellier, in the role of Marionette.
Other recordings include Beethoven’s Egtmond Musik with The Swedish Chamber Orchestra and Thomas Dausgård, ”Holger Danske” for Da Capo, ”Liden Kirsten” for Da Capo, Salome (A slave) for Chandos.
Franz Liszt ”Christus” has been recorded with Bach Academie and Helmut Rilling. August Enna’s ”Den lille pige med svovlstikkerne” with the Danish Radio Sinfonietta. Songs by Carl Nielsen, Odense Symphony Orchestra.
Throughout her career Henriette Bonde-Hansen has been awarded numerous prizes among which include: Musikanmelderringens Kunstnerpris (1995), Aksel Schiøtz Prisen (1996), Franco Prisen (1998), Elisabeth Don’s Mindelegat (1999), Hørsholm Kulturpris (2001), Axel og Magda Fuhrs Legat (2003), Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl Nielsens Prize of Honour (2013)
June 2014 she was awarded the Reumert Prisen ”Singer of the Year” for her interpretation of Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor).
June 2017 Reumert nominated ”Singer of the year” for her interpretation of Elvira (I Puritani)
