About the project
The primary aim of this Pedagogical Research project is to provide inspiration and knowledge to teachers educating ear training at conservatory preparatory level.
Interval understanding and safe interval listening is an important foundation for learning other practical musical skills, and building it is a lengthy process that - depending on the students' abilities - requires many approaches and methods of practice.
In addition to many exercises and ideas for working with intervals, this material also contains a broader description of the fascinating phenomenon that is intervals. I hope that conservatory students, colleagues and others with an interest in music can also benefit from this.
